🧹 Mall Housekeeping / Custodian

Full-Time | On-Site | Shopping Mall | Some Weekends Required

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Housekeeping/Custodian team member to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for shoppers, tenants, and staff. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and can handle multiple cleaning tasks throughout the day.

📍 Important Location Requirement

Candidates should live within a reasonable distance from ZIP code 30260 to ensure timely arrival for shifts and emergencies.

🗓️ Schedule Note

This position requires flexibility to work some weekends and occasional evenings to cover peak mall hours.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain public areas, including hallways, restrooms, food courts, and common areas
• Empty trash and recycling receptacles and dispose of waste properly
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors as required
• Clean windows, glass doors, and other surfaces
• Replenish supplies in restrooms (soap, paper towels, toilet paper)
• Report maintenance issues, hazards, or safety concerns to the management team
• Follow mall safety and cleaning protocols

🧰 Skills & Experience Desired

• Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience preferred (commercial or retail environments a plus)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Ability to lift up to 25–50 lbs safely

👷‍♂️ Physical Requirements

• Walking, standing, and bending for extended periods
• Use of cleaning equipment and supplies safely
